How do you see the role of the Business Relationship Manager in the current market?
In the current very dynamic and challenging market, I believe the BRM role is one of the most important within any entity, which is striving towards Customer Centric and Agile organization. Within the more mature Customer Centric organizations, this role in particular, is quite often implemented not only in the context of IT – Business relationships, but also within business functions as Finance, HR, Procurement, etc.
What do you think are the main challenges? The main challenges of the role are “mirroring” the challenges which our organization (as a whole) experience in the moment. From one side our Business Partners are in a very complex business environment managing very demanding markets, from another side LH EMEA DC is operating within the framework of LH HCC plan, striving to bring maximum business value.
How do you see this role in LafargeHolcim EMEA Digital Center?
I see that the role is gaining “traction”, and I believe it will become more and more important in the future.
How do you think this role is contributing to supporting the transformation into a customer-centric organization?
The main function of this role is to make sure IT delivers value there, where it is of the most necessity for our Business Partners. Therefore, the role is the cornerstone of Customer Centricity, providing the “hard link” between Business and IT Strategy.
What does success look like? Learning something new every day.
What are you most proud of…? Here I can talk a lot…:) but maybe the most important out of everything is being part of the EMEA DC transformation in the past 2 years!
